Dave Harasti’s New Book: The Marine Life of Bootless Bay
Marine biologist, underwater photographer, guest on the Surface Interval Show podcast and good guy Dave Harasti has recently co-authored a book with Mark Baine on the underwater life of the Port Moresby area of PNG.
Called The Marine Life of Bootless Bay, this is a wonderful collection of over 900 images, featuring in excess of 850 species.
Developed through the Motupore Island Research Centre with support from the University of Papua New Guinea, the Papua New Guinea Institute of Biodiversity (PINBio), the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and Project AWARE, 3,000 copies of this book have been distributed to villages and local schools in PNG.
We’ve just received a copy of this book from Dave, and will be providing a full review shortly.
For more information see Dave Harasti’s website.
