Google My Map of Bass Point Dive Sites

Google has released a beta enhancement to their Google Maps service.
I’ve played around quickly with this, and have created a Map of Bass Point Dive Sites.  I’ve marked 7 or so of the commonly dived sites, and put brief annotations about them.

NSW Tsunami Warning

The NSW State Emergency Service advises that:

People at the beach should leave the beach, and any areas exposed to surf, and move to higher ground.
People in boats in shallow water should immediately return to land, secure vessels and move to higher ground.

Tsunami alert shuts beaches

Strange days indeed.  On the back of the earlier post (on BlueBeyond.com.au) about the earthquake and tsunami hitting the Solomon Islands comes word that the NSW coastline has been closed, and Sydney Harbour is taking precautionary actions on the chance of a tsunami hitting us, sometime after 11.30am.  Thats about now.
