Its been a long hiatus since episode 013, but the boys are back in town. We appologise for the delays, brought on by technical glitches, computers crashing and dying altogether, travel, work and life. We’ll try to behave better in the future…..
In this pre-Christmas episode, we discuss:
- The finding of the Japanese midget submarine off Sydney’s Long Reef
- The awarding of the ex-HMAS Canberra to be sunk off Melbourne as an artificial reef
- Capt. Trevor’s discovery of a wreck off Noosa Heads, and Capt. Trev’s forthcoming book on Wreck Diving in Southern Queensland (see his website for details)
- The reporting in December’s Dive Log magazine that the airline Virgin Blue won’t carry divers without at least a 48 hour surface interval
- Update on the Shadow Diver’s movie, which is now said to be directed by Peter Weir
- Gary Gentile’s book Shadow Divers Exposed: the Real Saga of the U-869
- The DivePortalDVD magazine by John Chatterton and Richie Kohler (the original Shadow Divers)
- Richard Lundgren’s talk at Aquability about wreck diving in Norway
- The OzTek Photo Competition
