According to an article on Underwater Times, global warming is really having a devastating effect on our planet, and the coral reefs that we divers enjoy so much.

Global warming has had a more devastating effect on some of the world’s finest coral reefs than previously assumed, suggests the first report to show the long-term impact of sea temperature rise on reef coral and fish communities.

With the world being 70% water, I can’t imagine the impact on so many food chains that the destruction of one of the most magnificent life forms on the planet – the coral reef – is going to have.
